What we collect
We keep this site simple and collect as little as we can.
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form, your name, company, email, team size, platform and message are sent to us by email through Microsoft 365 and are not stored on the website. Otherwise, we receive only what you choose to email to hello@sf3tech.com, support@sf3tech.com or privacy@sf3tech.com. Requests sent through the support form, including any screenshots you attach, come to us by email and are used only to answer your request. To help us spot fraudulent messages, the website also looks up the public domain of the email address you enter (the part after the @) using Cloudflare DNS and the rdap.org registration directory. Only the domain is sent, never your full email address or message.
Booking a call
If you book a call, Microsoft Bookings collects your name, email address, company and anything you choose to add, so we can arrange and hold the call. It is kept in our Microsoft 365 account and used only for that purpose.
Your consent choice
Our consent tool, Cookiebot, saves a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies.
Website statistics, only if you agree
If you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used, such as pages viewed, how you arrived, your rough location (country or city), and your device and browser type. It does not store your full IP address. If you decline, Google Analytics does not run and sets no cookies.
Your language choice
If you pick a language in the footer, we save that choice in your browser so the site opens in it next time. If you never pick one, nothing is saved.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Applying to work with us
If you send your details through the Work with us page, your name, email, main area, country, LinkedIn profile, the note you write and your CV come to us by email through Microsoft 365 and are not stored on the website. We use them only to consider you for roles. With your consent, we keep them for up to 12 months and then delete them. You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete them at any time by emailing privacy@sf3tech.com.
How we use it
We use your messages to reply to you and to provide our services. We use technical data only to run and protect the website. With your consent, we use Google Analytics statistics to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising cookies or share data with Google for advertising.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR, we reply to your messages to take steps toward, or to perform, a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)) or because of our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Technical logs rely on our legitimate interest in a secure, working website. Google Analytics and any other cookie that is not strictly necessary are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and our email: our website hosting provider, Cookiebot by Usercentrics for consent, Google Analytics by Google Ireland Limited for statistics (only with your consent), and Microsoft 365 for email and bookings. Some of these providers, including Google, may process data in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as we need them to help you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Your consent choice is kept for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. Google Analytics statistics are kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email privacy@sf3tech.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
